Oh, your quilt is so traditional and so beautiful. Can you tell I love it? I have made several blocks to find out if I could manage a whole quilt and your photo has shown how to set them with sashing and borders. I am thinking the size of the squares differ: in the blocks the squares finish at 1.5” and in the border they finish at 2”. Hope I’m right.

I didn't have a pattern, just winged it. I watched a tutorial on how to do the blocks, they were so fun to make, I'm ready to make a scrappy with my leftovers.

I designed it myself, the border was pretty easy to do, I just sewed the white strip then 5 colored strips then another white, cut them 2.5 inches then when I started sewing the little strips together I dropped down to where the white block was lined up with the first colored block, then trimmed 1/4 inch from the edge for my seam allowance..when you get the length you need then take off a sqare from the bottom so you have the miter going the other way to match up. I think I need to add a picture tutorial, but it was easy to do.
