What a cute little poppit he is. The blanket and quilt are lovely. My son had to have an operation when he was born to keep the tube open that helps the blood travel around and through the heart that closes about a week after a baby is born so he could travel from Adelaide to the Royal childrens hospital in Melbourne to have open heart surgery. He had transdisposition of the great artery. He also suffered an aquired brain injury from lack of oxygen when he was born. We were given a small quilt made by the volunteers at the hospital the size of about two magazines that we still have to this day as he is 9yrs now. He is in good health and we are very proud of his scar and what looks like 3 belly buttons and had his operation of Friday the 13th which we now consider lucky for us. He is such a joy and constantly makes us giggle with laughter. The only side affect he has from the ABI is fine motor skills and delayed learning at school which he gets help with and has a problem with personal space which he has no problem sitting glued to you watching tv or sticking his nose in what ever you are doing. Not shy either. OK enough of me rambling. Glad your little man is on the mend, pity they didnt pick it up alot soon.  :P :P
