They both go. The green softens it with your teal in the side of the picture, the brown adds more contrast with the teal. Can you do some of each? Nice job by the way.

How about if you do both...some with green and some with brown? The brown makes it pop more and the green brings out the soothing cool colors in the quilt!

I would alternate...or even brown w/smaller green in it and green w/smaller brown....
