    Duh! I didn't pay attention to the title of your post. I did google the pattern and I like your take on it better. The black really adds to it. I once read an article from a quilter (don't remember who exactly), That she always incorporates black or purple into every quilt. It helps it "pop"

    Ekuw.....thank you...black is my favorite contrasting color and I use it a lot a lot a lot..Lol...So, that's good to hear someone else does too..
