Green Tea & Sweet Beans, by Jen Kingwell
#68
I decided to use my polka dot and stripe stash for this quilt top. Pieced blocks and applique (turned edge and machine sewn) made this a fun variety of blocks. I did trapunto on all applique. I machine quilted on my domestic and wanted a really poofy and cushiony finish so this is all STID and stitching around and on applique. STID felt like I made the quilt again. Lol..phew.. I started this after completing Sylvia's Bridal Sampler so this took about 6 weeks. Thanks for looking...

This quilt is filled with so much joy! It is a happy quilt snd your skills are wonderful. You have done a wonderful job bringing your fabric choices to life. I don't think I could ever sleep under it, I think it would keep me away just because it is so alive and awake.1 Beautiful quilt thanks for sharing.
