Thanks everyone, I was going to give it to her at our Christmas party but she was sick! it is sitting in my livingroom and I keep looking at it. I do have it in a big gift bag, but i keep pulling it out.

The group did a fantastic job on it. She must have been very pleased to have such a nice gift.

What a lovely gift for your president. Our guild board members usually just make squares for our outgoing president. A finished quilt is so nice.

I know alot guilds just make blocks, but we have always done the whole thing. It's the Vice Pres. job to get it underway,so that was me. I just had a member quilt it and I had help with piecing. There is talk about doing blocks in the future, just hope it is after I'm President! My term starts in Jan.
