which at a kind suggestion has been renamed "Guilty Pleasures". Sounds kind of risque for such a sweet quilt, but so be it!

All 12 blocks are done! So that puts me about 11 mos ahead of the BOM. Except having to first cut the border at 92" lengthwise, fussy cut. Then cut the setting corners for the blocks with their frames. Then started the sashing which as you can see is a stripe and needs to be cut out 1 at a time and have the 4 corners trimmed, all the little "star" triangles for the cornerstones with their little points clipped off and then inner border pieces with their star ends will come, etc, etc. it will take me all 11 mos to finish anyway!!!!!!!!! So ends my gloating!

Here is some progress. The way Marti Michell assembles it is to complete two sides of each block and then join them together rather than working with longggggggg pieces of material.
