I made this quilt when my grandson started to move around on the floor. Once he got older i put it over a rocking chair in my family room. One night when my older grandkids were here waiting for their Mom, they were getting very antsy so i put the quilt on the floor and created a game out of it. They had to find different items in the blocks. We played this game for over an hour! Now they ask to play "the Block Game" Who would have thought they could have so much fun with a quilt. I am now making another one with more detailed blocks because they have gotten too good at it.

What a great idea! You're sneeky changing the quilt.  That's ok, it will give them something else to focus on.

Pretty quilt BTW. :D

What a fabulous idea, even if it was an accident.

They will have a big surprise...i found four inch squares that have all kinds if thing inside from animals to tools to shapes and everything else. The next one will have just the blocks done with a white border so they will have lots of "things" to find and a lot more blocks. It will be great for a rainny day!
