Wanted to do a Halloween version and now that I have made my first house and doll block I am not sure about using the orange dot as background for the entire quilt...

I could rip the "grass" of of the bottom of the house and use that white/orange flower print for the background...don't know.

Any ideas welcome...

My vote is the lighter background, I think the blocks "POP" more.

The pattern is so cute, did you design it or purchase?
I prefere the lighter background also.
Please post picture after you get done, would love to see it.
