Yes, they are very simple. They take me about 30 minutes start to finish to make each one. I have decided to make them one for every holiday. I bought the fabric at Walmart, so they were inexpensive too. Just something fun for them. I already have Christmas fabric!

I'll bet having grandchildren to do these things for is so nice!!! My kids aren't old enough yet... one's 10 and the other's 14. When they were a little younger, they would've loved these! Now they might secretly like them, but wouldn't want their friends to see. hehehe

What a great idea for each Holiday.
I saw a method for making pillow cases at a quilt show and wish I had gotten the instructions. It was so simple and you sewed all the fabrics togather at the same time.

That's the way I do it--would you like me to PM you the instructions?

Joan-my three oldest granddaughters are 5, 3 1/2 and 2. The youngest is just 3 months. She will not be using her pillowcase any time soon, but I figured while I was on a roll making them I might as well make her one too!!

All the Walmart stores in my area have discontinued their fabrics. Sure do miss that section. Love the pillowcases.
