Glad you got out of your funk! The quilt is really pretty and challenged you in finishing it.

Tasty leftovers! I really like the center blocks. Name please? Together they make a nice secondary pattern. I like this quilt. It looks just the way it should as as leftovers and tells a great story.
A whole quilt from this block would look very cool as a two color or scrappy quilt. Good Work, D.

I saw a video of a comedian named Jeanne Robinson. She talked about people in the South saying, "bless her heart." They said it for people who had done something "ineffectively" or just plain stupid. My DH and I say it all the time now. I love that saying.

The blocks in the center are called Ozark Maple Leaf. Here it is on quilters cache - http://www.quilterscache.com/O/OzarkMapleLeafBlock.html

I really like it! It comes together for me. Some child at a homeless shelter would fall in love with the bright colors and being able to follow the different shapes.

Hi Dunster, I haven't been on line much and just checked on my inquiry about the center block and want to thank you for the info. It is very very nice. I also like your leftovers!
