Trisa ... Just plan color crayons are used and you put paper on the ironing board before laying the colored fabric on and paper towels over that so the iron is kept clean too. I'll find a picture of some quilt we all did years ago and then I quilted about five of them, I've got another one that I'm getting ready to quilt. I use a lot of sulky, Rayons and glitzy threads, some of the ladies used beads to decorate the insides of the flowers. It was fun and they all were a bit different.

Those bubble lights are adorable on the winter quilt! Both quilts are really special. I love them both.

Did you get the patterns at lace tales on line?

I have seen the halloween embrodery pattern at clotilde, I think. The lacetales.com site has many neat old time patterns that are very sweet. I have bought them from my local quilt store too.

The chriatmas one I have never seen before. Very cute!
