    This is breathtaking! This quilt is just gorgeous....nostalgic, romantic, soft and even strikes an emotional cord in one when viewing it! Congratulations for your beautiful creation! I know you are proud!

    Thank you all for your kind comments. Thought I would tell you why I think the quilting does not show up more. I tried a new batting, Thermore ultra light. The maximum spacing for quilting is 9" which is one reason I chose it as I didn't know how I was going to quilt it when I put the batting in. If I do another hand quilted one, I will use batting with more loft so that it will show up better. I haven't washed this yet so maybe it will puff up a little when it is washed.
