    Handbag for Charity

I just put the last stitches on this handbag for the Driving for Diabetes auction donation. I hope it sells well.

It has two outside pockets and five pickets on the inside. The key fob is something I always put in my purses, because I love that feature in a bag. The handle is a fake green crocco leather. I hope you girls like it too. This was a first with this pattern, so it went a little on the slow side. Quilting and assembling took a couple days. By the way the fabric is a jacket weight polished cotton.

Lovely bag ..... lots of handy sized pockets and I love the key fob - great idea. I may just steal that one for when making bags.

I am sure that someone there will want this bag. Hopefully two to up each others bidding. Good Luck.

Great bag! Love the colors you chose. I always like a light colored lining (so I can find stuff in the bottom) I don't include a fob, but I always put a clip for keys in all my purses & totes.
Hope it does great in the auction.

Lovely bag. I looked and looked but I couldn't find the five pickets in the bag. (ha,ha). Even without the pickets I LOVE this bag. I am sure that others will also love it and hopefully bid high. I love a bag that has a lot of pockets.
    Thanks for sharing. BrendaK

Great bag. Love the added touch of quilting the pockets prior to placing them inside.

Thank you all so very much! I appreciate your wonderful comments. I was watching Vera Bradley bags being sold on the shopping channel last night and hopefully this one commands that kind of prices too. LOL!

That is a beautiful bag and should raise a lot of money for the cause. I love the inner pockets too. Since I began sewing last year I've made all my purses. I'm on the 4th iteration now and finally I have it pretty close to perfect. I love to make my own purse because I can design it to hold exactly the stuff that I carry. It's completely customized to me and me alone!

I was trying to find the name of the bag pattern. Like the bag and am looking for one that has nice inside room. Looks nice.
