    hanging gardens quilt

This is the first of two king size quilts from this pattern. It was a real bear for me as it is set on point. Like Jenny Doan, I am very anglely challenged so this was a real bear for me. Quilting this on my Janome was another challenge. Just don't look at it too close!! So glad to have this one done. The second one still needs the border and then quilting. They are botn Christmas gifts so I wanted to get them done ahead of time. So far so good!!

I've made this pattern too - love your color choices!
A fabric stash is always missing that one fabric needed to finish the quilt on which you're working.

Ditter, it is beautiful! I love the colors, the pattern itself is also great and the quilting looks superb.
A quilt is like a good life. It's full of mistakes, but, in the end, it looks pretty good.

Beautiful, way to go getting a jump on Christmas, it will be here before we know it. Quilting a king on a standard machine is always a challenge.
