I used a tutorial I found on here.. I quilted it all first with just a 4 inch boarder and then drew on curves and stitched them together and then cut off the excess then did the binding...

That is such a nice idea. My sister and I were cleaning out mom's closet after she passed away. My sister was putting all the pants in a pile. I asked if she had checked the pockets first. She said no, why? I reminded her that mom always had a hankie in her pocket. We went back through the pile of pants and laughed every time we found a hankie in one of the pockets. We ended up with a whole pile of lovely hankies that we divided up to save. I should make a quilt out of them I guess.

You should... I had lots of fun folding and ironing them.. I treated each one for it's own beauty. I decided to do Angels as that is what my mom loves... You can also make them look like butterflies. You can even do the blocks in a quilt as you go fashion. I love the quilts that have a memory in them.. Have fun!
