It looks great on the door. Sorry you had frustration while getting it together. I would guess a small piece of thread stuck in your tension mechanism just from experience on my Pfaff. I'm glad it resolved itself so you could at least piece later.

very cute.... don't be so hard on yourself. I know FMQ with metallic is the pits... Need a regular metallic needle... is that what you used. Metallic is hit and miss with me. Happy 4th Thanks for sharing. Quilter 1234

I like it, I like it - nice and colorful. Great job and what a great way to celebrate the 4th, even if there were some "fireworks" while you were FMQ. Just kidding, some days just go plooey. I was trying to make 4 buttonholes on 2 pair of coveralls for my DGD. After searching for my instruction booklet and finding it where I least expected to, inside the cover, got set up, made many practice buttonholes, then the first one on a coverall, it got messed up. Go figure - happened again too. Fortunately, the thread really matched the background, so I improvised, but so irritating.
