In honor of National Quilt Day (2nd Saturday in month of March), many quilt guilds participate in the Happy Birthday Baby Project, whereby quilts are made and donated to area local hospitals and awarded to the first babies born on Nat'l Quilt Day. This is the quilt I made to donate to one of our local hospitals where I am employed. Pattern is a version of "Warm Wishes" that I got out of a booklet that I purchased at JoAnn's. The ducks and bright colors worked out well, since the quilts had to be gender neutral. Enjoy

Oh, Nita, that came out so cute!! You did a great job quilting it too. Why didn't you post it on the "pictures" page?

What a beautiful baby quilt. You are so sweet to make this, to donate. We all need to do more of the same. Thanks for sharing.

Actually, I wasn't sure WHERE it belonged, since it was a picture, but also an informational "blurp" about National Quilt Day and the Happy Birth Day Baby Project. I'm still new at posting pics, so I guess from now on I put anything with a photo in the pictures section instead?

Thanks, Bev. BTW, the pattern came out of that leaflet I told you about. It was such a fun quilt to put together. All easy quilts to make for kids in this booklet and I can't wait to try another pattern.
