I promised my dear grandson a big boy quilt on his birthday last September and told him it would take me 'a while'. I finished it last weekend! He chose the colors which are the same as his hockey team. He asked for silver, but he got gray instead. It is my original design. I also made a coordinating pillowcase. It is stitched in the ditch on my DSM.

Instead of putting the points of the 'cornerstone' friendship stars into the border, I simply quilted the points into the border.
