With 40% off sales at Joann's, I splurged on sprucing up my sewing armoire. Actually, it's my sewing storage armoire as my machine is always set up on the dining room table. :0) The armoire has upper shelves, a pull-out surface with a lift-up table leaf, and lower shelves underneath. My new boxes fit the shelves perfectly and hold my quilting supplies, WIPs, block swap blocks, etc. I'm LOVING my freshly organized space!

So here you go . . . first the before pictures and then the after.

Thanks. I love the "Ahhhh" feeling when things are organized. Very refreshing. I still need to label the boxes though.

It feels just as good as it looks. LOL. The shelves are 17"deep and things were always hard to see and reach toward the back. I'm going to get one more shallow box w/dividers in it so I can begin putting my 1 1/2" postage stamp squares in, sorted by color and value.

Now to sort out and find a new home for all of the non-quilty craft stuff that's been evicted from the cabinet. I love the week after Christmas! I always feel so productive. I think I would have done well as a professional organizer. Ah well, that's in another life.

Great use of a small space. Doesn't it feel good to be organized so well?
