This is a really cute quilt!

Did you change the thread color going around the daisy from white to color?

It looks like a ton of work!! You did a great job.

Hi there, this pattern was I am sure; published in the Australian Patchwork and Quilting mag some time ago. I do not know exactly when, but remember saving it for later. It is delightful!. However sadly my copy of the mag was given away to a book sale by my DH when he was "helping" me.

I did match the thread to the fabric when I stitched around the appliques. I didn't like how it looked with white thread on the darker fabrics. I had thought about stitching all of the petals in yellow, like the center, but I didn't even test it out. Maybe next time.

I love the look of applique quilts, but not too fond of the stitching around each piece part, so I don't do them too often. I would like to do some needle turn applique someday.
