You are right! I was dreading it but wanted to get it done. I usually use a cotton batting because I just like the finished, washed look. I figured that would be lost in this one anyway so I went for a poly bat. That helped. Then I just quilted till my fingers could take no more and still be able to quilt the next day. Needless to say the stitches are lost on the back but it looks better than I thought it would. Will I quilt Minkee again? Probably not. Lol. Unless my sweet little DILs ask. flannel would be a better choice.

So sweet. Love yellow and never seem to put enough of it in my quilts. Minky hand quilting? Wow!
