I was inspired by someone's heart quilt to post this pic of the quilt I made for my adult daughter a while back. She loves pink and hearts. I really didn't know what I was doing when I started it! I made four sections with appliqued hearts. Wish I had the skill level to quilt around each heart.

You could do a small basting stitch in the heart seam, or, go real slow with the machine. beautiful Quilt.

I think you did a grand job! Applique is not the easiest technique for many to master and it looks like you have done it very well. Every new technique in making a quilt takes time to learn. In the mean time I know your daughter just loves this quilt. Great job. You inspire others to try their hand at applique.
