Harley Davidson Quilt
#1

I did it!! My 2nd quilt. I know you guys thought I disappeared. It has been since Mothers Day that I started this one. I searched the net over and there is just no ideas for Harley Quilts. So I had to come up with my own. Here is what I did. I bought a $15 bandana (do rag) to use as the corners and center. Then I pieced Log cabins in shades of black and white with flames for the center blocks and other accents.
I hand pieced, machine quilted in the ditch. I feel good about this one!!
For a very good Harley loving friend.

OOps, forgot to add that it is about 30 by 30....I quilted around the Harley symbol in the corners and around the symbol in the center and around the outer edge of the "tribal design".
Giving it to her tomorrow. I am very excited about the surprise.

It's hard to believe that is only your second quilt  It's hard to come up with ideas on how to put one together but you did a fantastic job. I did one last year and it took me forever to figure out a way to get them all together. I did a combo, rag/T-shirt quilt. My daughter had all kinds of Harley T-shirts and she asked me to make a quilt for her out of them. Wanna see mine too?
