love the cows.I have done the walking the pasture for missing babys. It alway seam to me it was 103 or raining.

Absolutely the cutest quilt I have ever seen! Of course, I am partial to cows as we raise registered Angus cattle. I could make one of these myself but would have to make the cows all black and they wouldn't be as cute as yours! Yes, the mommas hide the babies well. We had a brand new baby born a week or so ago in a field right outside of my kitchen window. One day, the momma left the baby where I could see it from my kitchen window and I watched it for a few hours. Towards evening, a deer (doe) came to see what that "black" thing was - sniffing and walking carefully towards it. When the doe got close to the calf, I guess the calf raised up or made a noise and scared the deer away.
