Talking Have a look at this D9P.....

...that turns out into such a very interesting pattern. A friend in my quilting group just finished it and allowed me to show it to you as I was so fascinated the way it turned out. Maybe some of you might have seen a D9P like that before but it was new to me, I always just knew about the "usual" ones.

I love playing with D9P. With the alternate blocks, this would go together fast and still look very "quilty"

Very nice, I would have never thought to use just two colors, I guess I mite have to try some different color way out, thanks for showing us.

Yes, I think just using 2 colours is what makes the difference in this quilt, I always used at least 3 colours in a D9P.

I like that a lot. Sometimes DSP9s get too busy for me, but using the two colors and the alternating fabric is just right!
People who start projects and never finish them are cooler
than people who never start projects at all.

I have made 2 D9P and used a total of nine fabrics. I really like this one with just the two. I am going to try that on a quilt I am hoping to make for a friend of mine. Thank you so much for sharing your friend's quilt.

You know, this may have just solved a dilemma I'm having with a quilt that really wants to be a D9P, but I can't figure out why! Thank you (and your friend) for sharing!
