Oh I love the fabric & the purse! Some men just aren't in to things like this so I wouldn't worry too much about his opinion.

I let my DD pick fabric for her quilt but not the pattern. She loves it ! I would leave out the fabric for her to see and get her reaction !

Everybody's taste are different. The son that said no way does not know the tastes of his future sister-in-law so do not feel bad. I am not a purse girl but I do like the purse and I would be happy to get a handmade purse from someone. Great job!!!!!!!

am not a fan of these bags but do like this one; if you think she may not like why go to the trouble of making another which may not be liked either ,so, why don't you give it and tell her she may have another in it's place and let her choose fabric.
