Daisy Dew - you are right on both counts! I did pretty much jump into this project purposely without really thinking through all the hours it was going to involve or I would have never started. And, I have been hitting the chocolate pretty hard since I finished it!

Spectacular job. A true labor of love. Make sure your son and future DIL understand the time, love and effort that went into it. Non quilters can't tell the difference between hand and machine made and too often and sadly equate the value of an heirloom such as this with the crappy made in China knockoffs that sell at big box stores for $30.

I am Renee765's daughter! Mom you did an amazing job its beautiful! To everyone else: she did spend an entire year making this by hand AND managed to keep it a secret to my brother & fiance! I dont know how she did it but i am so proud to have such an artistic mother! Although i cant wait for a dress..please take a break and relax! love you mom!!!
