    I love watching Eleanor Burns.......when she tosses those little pieces over her shoulder cracks me up! I know, doesn't take much to entertain me....LOL!

    Quilter 7x thanks for the tip on strip piecing, It is working well.
    Thanks everyone for the encouragement and compliments. I got 9 blocks done today only messed up one! Now I have 39 more to do!!

    Question... Should I do those two center blocks in the heart with all reds? What do you think?

    Yes, I think the heart inthe center would look striking all red!!

    Also, if you cut long strips of each color, and then sew them on in turn, trimming after each is sewn on, it goes really fast. If you can look at the Eleanor Burns Log Cabin book, she shows a way to sew several blocks onto a strip and then cutting the pieces to length one at a time. It's really fast!!!
