Nothing says "It's a great quilt!" like an ear-to-ear smile! Beautiful job. I love the blue sashing and border. Thanks for sharing.

LOVE this pattern---did you create it? It is a fantastic design for a young man..my son would love it also.
If possible, answer where you found the pattern.

I got the pattern from a link on quiltville.com. Or you can probably find it if you google Heart String's.

I chose how to set up the blocks and the borders.

I asked my nephew his favorite color which he said, dark purple almost black. I could not find this color in fabric. So I asked him his next favorite color, he said royal blue. The blue fabric was the closest I could find.

It is absolutely gorgeous! The piano key borders go perfect with your quilt. An amazing job on the handquilting - a lot of love into that quilt for sure!

I am usually not a fan of scrappy, but the blue borders really make this a great quilt... nice looking young man. Hope he love what you have made for him....quilter1234

Very very nice. I like how you used the narrow sashing to define the blocks, really sets them off especially with the blue inner border.
