    What a good idea! And so pretty.... Our fireplace has a raised hearth about that size, too. We wanted to be able to sit on it when the fireplace was not in use. But it's a hazard to little tots. You have come up with a great solution!

    Clever! Why didn't I think of that? I may do the same but put some extra warm batting. Sitting on those bricks to toast by the fire is wonderful but me bum gets cold! I see a seasonal theme for these, if I only had more time. Tee- Hee-Hee!
