Hi I believe if you go to a good dealer they can help you quilting with your embroidery machine is not hard at all. If you are looking for a good embroidery machine there are many out there you just need to know what you want in a machine. If you like to ask questions just email me at [email protected] I if I can help I would love too. Happy Quilting...

knlsmith, If you have the money go for the Viking Diamond, it has the largest sewing field for embroidery Or quilting on the market.

Isn't it discouraging when "experts" aren't? I have a Janome embroidery machine (9000) and use memory cards with quilting designs. One card, #106, is devoted to quilting designs, which were used on the beautiful quilt, Heavenly Stars. Many of my quilts have "embroidery" quilting and, although fairly time consuming, they are unique. Belles

Nice job, I want to do something similar. Have a huge black and white top that I want to use my Janome 11K to quilt.
