Oh my gosh these are delightful. Thanks for sharing and thanks April Mae for these wonderful designs. I have tagged this as i would love to make them for when my grandchildren come. LOL I might even make a set now and put aside as it is only one block a month. FANTASTIC. Cannot wait to see the rest. Good luck. I love your background fabric. Excellent choice

Thanks! I put the quilting foot on my machine and free motion stitched around the pieces. It works better with some sort of stabilizer under the fabric. In this case, I used a piece of paper and tore it off after I was done. It comes off nicely, but you have to pick the small pieces out of the stitches.
