If you do go there I would suggest using a thin strip of the solid gold fabric and then a wider strip of the plaid or the dotted material if you have any of that.
My vote too!! Also the binding could be the fabric you used as sashing between kitties!! Unless you just need it larger - I wouldnt add anything!! I like throws but I would make this a size that would actually fit a bed - just my opinion lol please send pics when done thanks cheryl :-D

I got the kitties from my local Quilt store, but I just did a bing search for kitten panel fabric and it came up at top of list,

My favorite is the plaid. It seems to give the quilt some pop.

I love the quilt, it would look great with a thin dark coffee brown to bring out the pictures and the gold ,then the lighter brown.. but that is my thought.. ;)

What do you think?
These are just materials I have, If theres good ideas for another color i can get something else.
does it need a border?
Thanks to all my quilting friends I know I will get an honest answer!!
My thought (for what it is worth) would be to pick up the dark brown in the fabric for the border and then bind in one of the gold colours. The quilt is just gorgeous.
