I think I like the floral better. It pushes the white back and lets the other colors come through more.

I guess I'm an odd duck too.. I like the dark tonal, seems to bring out the other fabrics more.

I like the roses for the edge. What about the solid tonal for the center block??

I like the tone on tone best. Good luck!

The fabric I really like is the brown w/gold roses, but for the blocks you are using I would use the brown tone on tone since the center blocks are a busier fabric. Whatever you use both fabrics are very pretty.

To me the white is so stark and distracting, I think a green or even a black (is that black in the 'window' of the inner blocks) would work.

Both fabrics are nice but I lean toward the more solid one. It may look blah now but you could add some nice quilting to that border and it would really make it pop!!

From what i am seeing on my monitor, and I am not sure what the colors are...but the tonal fabric seems to go much better...the rses are too busy and there is something off about it. Like someone else said, you can quilt the tonal and make it look fantastic with a quilted pattern
