Leave it and go ahead and finish it, looks fine to me, like that's the way it was meant to be!

If I had one or two that were going in a different direction I would rip out the lighthouse square and resew. But if you hadn't pointed out that you wanted them all going the same direction I wouldn't have thought anything of the layout - it just looks like a random pattern. If you don't tell anyone what you were going for - they'll think you intended for the look you have. It looks nice as is. Keep on truckin'!

It would look like blocks with sashing and cornerstones. Not nearly as interesting as the D9P.

Looks ok. Spice it up with a red border! I love lighthouses.

I'm going to sleep on it and then tomorrow continue. I was so afraid it would look dumb like this, when I could have Made them all go the same way. But I'll keep going and if anyone asks-well I meant to do that!! Thanks everyone for the kind wordS and I'll be sure to post picture of the quilt top when I get it completed.

Don't ya love it ... every side is the "right" side! Consider it a great design plan! Who will ever challenge it?

It has been a while since I did the D9P, but instead of twisting your blocks, I think it works just as well if you just switch two of the opposite corners. Try putting the four pieces back in place the way they were right after cutting into 4ths then switch the positions of the lower left and upper right blocks. The individual re-sewn D9P blocks will look different than if you use the twist method, but once you put them all together, the effect is the same.

Either I am correct or it is jut too late and I need to go to bed....LOL!!

If you hadn't pointed it out, I would have thought this was the way you intended it to be.

That way it doesn't matter which way it goes on the bed! Leave it.

I like it just the way it is. Great job. Now all sides are the right side.
