I agree it is Snowy Owl, but with an added square in the corner. EasyPeezy has it right.

Looks like corn and beans. Take a peek at the quilters cache and there are tons of blocks and see what you can find. Good Luck and what a wonderful idea. I'm sure your gramma is going to love it!

My message I was writing vanished..so I'll try again.. Mary Ellen Hopkins in her "It's ok to sit on my quilt Book" on page 45. has a bk. called " Old Maid's Puzzle" that is almost the same as yours.. Beautiful quilt you have made!
