    I think it's pretty just like it is. I wouldn't change a thing. I think your points are great.

    I would use the medium green (swirl lighter green) used in your quilt. I would not use the dotted type fabric (not used in the quilt). But, of course, it is entirely up to the quilter's eye and what you like best. If you use something we tell you looks good, and, you do not like it, you will never be happy. So, go with what you like!

    My choice would be the middle colour, (green), I would definitely not put a border of yellow, there is enough yellow in it already... using the green would bring out that same colour that is through it... try it and see...

    Don't mean to sound smug - but straight away when I saw this I thought 'lighter'!! Before you laid them next to - dont go with the darker one - just looks Alien!

    Deffinately the lighter one!!

    In my humble opinion!!! Which is all it is at the end of the day - my opinion - go with your heart!!!
