I like #1 better. When I first looked at your blocks, I could see just a smidgen of your rotary mat betweent he squares and thought you were doing stained glass.

It all depends on if you want to really see the orange. The first one makes the orange pop and I vote for that one (orange makes me think of fall).

Donna Rae-You could combine them put the top one on both ends and the 2nd one in the middle. Or if you want a choice of one or the other I vote for the top one with the orange in the middle.

Why not combine the two, or, make two separate runners. They're both beautiful.
