Great quilt, dk purple will set it off beautifully! Do you have enough scraps from the purses to do a boarder of strips? When I made my dgd a quilt I had lots of little pcs left over that I trimmed to the same size, but a little wonkey, sewed into strips for sashing. I can see that same technique here, as well. Whatever you deside, the quilt is beautiful. Lucky girl, your granddaughter!

Use the dark purple. It will remind you of the GB win over the Vikings!
