It is going to be laid where it is in the picture. It will look like the row before it.

What you have done so far is wonderful! But I'm going to not agree with everyone else. If it were my quilt, I would not use the fabric in question! I think the background is too light and it doesn't fit with the other fabrics,

I'm with you, not sure. It depends on whether you like the darker tone with the others or not. I personally would like something a bit lighter in tone. I'm assuming you want honesty (sorry....) Also, I've learned over the years to go with my first instinct and stick to it. Sounds like you don't love it or you wouldn't be undecided. Find something you really do love. When the right fabric comes along, you'll know it, not wonder.

Yes! I am kinda with you two, I think the tanish coloring is too light so it is not matching with the rest. Be right back going to takw a pick of my other options......

I would seperate the 2 prints with a narrow strip of the dark blue fabric and then bind it with the same blue.

I have mixed feelings. If you use it separate it from other prints with a solid. The blue rose print is so pretty as is you ? fabric. Use but let each stand alone. I like beautiful fabrics to be frasmed and admired,

I think it works well with the other fabrics.

Although, I am not partial to it being right next to the one it is with right now. Colour wise they go together nicely. Just that both are busy, together, and you don't get to enjoy them ... almost like they are fighting it out!

Find another fabric to coordinate them all together, and act as a division between those two.

What are you making? ... quilt block into a quilt? or?

I agree with the last ladies that you should separate the two prints with a solid. then it should be very pretty.

Okay here are the other choices.....

I think this will not work because of the strips being too close to each other

This one is supose to be used for a thin boarder when this block is done

I am liking this one but it will have the dark blue trangle on the end like the row before

First one feels kinda busy for me. Like the second one. Good luck. Be sure to post your choice.

If you lay the medium blue and the dark blue triangle next to each other and there is enough contrast, I would go with the medium blue.

I have that same blue rose fabric and I love it. But I think your first instinct is probably right. The fabric is too "white"usy. and maybe too busy. If you're not sure go with something else. When the right one comes along, you'll know it. Kind of like the right man!!

So this is what I was thinking, what do you think? The lighter blue will be about 3/4" and then the last boarder will be the more dense flowers will be 9". I think this will work now that I see it in natural light.

I like both of those blues ... hard to know when we have no clue what the final block is going to look like. That can change things a lot!
