Default My UFO list getting smaller #7

I posted this top last October and now getting it ready to put on LA:

A friend decided she wants this for another friends 60th BD. She's an old hippie!

    http://www.quiltingboard.com/picture...p-t204454.html

I added a 4" border to stabilize the bias edges and then my backing material was too small so I had to go shopping. I needed 7yds for this one and of course had nothing in stash that would work.....

so...... I think my choice for an old hippie works!

    Does everyone approve?

I have enough of the border check for the binding or a wonderful golden color. Thanks for looking.
    peace

Love the pattern, really striking. Speaking as an old hippy, I would sure love it.

I love that quilt... it's beautiful. I wonder if you wouldn't mind giving us the info on block, cornerstone and strip sizes so we can make one as well. Thanks!

Go to the begining of this thread and click on the ufo #7 scrappy top. It will take you to the original thread and info about the pattern.

I added my own twist to the original design by adding scrappy sashing and corner stones. The strip width for them is 2 1/2" wide and the corner stone is 2 1/2" sq. So they finish at 2" wide . The length is as long as the edge of the basic block. Off hand I don't remember the size but will look it up and re post for you.

This was very fast to put together and you really could make the blocks any size you want.
    thanks for looking.
