I love that one! I got some fabric the other day to venture into OBW territory. Just have to finish some other WIPs first.

this is beautiful. I've seen these done a lot lately. I guess it's the latest craze, huh? Well, I've got the perfect fabric for it. I will have to give it a try too.

    That is so stunning!

The richness of the colours make it look like it is made out of velvet!

Your quilt is lovely. For the edges of the OBW field where it isn't straight, did you add triangles of the background to the end of your rows? If not, how did you handle adding the borders? Mine is pieced without the borders just now, and I really don't want to cut the edges to straighten them.
    Thanks

Very pretty. I really have begun to like black in quilts. I think black makes things stand out and it really does in this quilt. Good job.

Yes, I just added black triangles and then the black borders. Easy!

I have fabric for one but I'm in the middle of two other projects. I'm so darn slow! I made the mistake of starting my first hand applique wall hanging project and as usual am learning by trial and error...lots of error. I seem to do as much ripping out as stitching but am enjoying it just the same.
