You really did a wonderful job! All I could do was ooh and ahhh! Couldn't think of the right words. Nice doesn't sound fancy enough to match such wonderful work!

I guess I will have to say the quilt kept telling me what to do, especially when it came to the quilting part. I quilted all kinds of things in the back ground that doesn't really show in pictures. It has hearts, butterflies, doves, the kids' names etc.

BarbsBus:
What a lovely gift you've made. I love it! The little Sunbonnet Sues and Bills are a great touch for the bride and groom. Good job. Thanks for sharing. I have to tell you that you are a far better grandma than I...I've made as few of those little stop sign shaped flowers and HATED doing them. I'm not a hand sewer and I just couldn't get into that pattern but I love it when someone else does it!

I feel so lucky now that i am retired. I have lots of time to sit and sew. My DH is now totally blind and has lots of health issues so I spend a lot of time just sitting near him either at home or at doctor offices and have to have something to do with my hands. We listen to a lot of books on tape and music so I like to take on projects that I can either do at home or take with me.

That quilt will certainly become their first heirloom. It is so nice.
