Beautiful job for only your 3rd quilt! That "Blossoms" fabric is gorgeous! It's amazing all the beautiful blocks you get from one fabric pattern and stack & whack it! Your quilt is gorgeous, keep up the great work!

Thank you for the wonderful comments and encouragement. I have to say that I had help with choosing the green. I had a deep forest jewel green originally and after making several hexagons, didn't think it complimented the pattern and the colors correctly. I have two wonderful DIL and one of them sometimes confers with me on my color choices. I had the lime green and she agreed that it was a better contrast. Her daughter was over one day when it was on the design board (she is under 10) and announced that I didn't have the placement correct. There was too much of one color in one place. Grandkids can keep you humble. To those who are afraid to try, you CAN do it. If I did, then you can, too. After choosing the fabric for the center, the rest kind of decides itself.

That is an amazing quilt. Your pieced borders really make it unusual. The fabric is a great choice.
