Thank-you for saying that it was a Nancy Chong pattern. She is a wonderful pattern designer and teacher. I highly recommend her if you have the opportunity to take one of her classes. Also your wall hanging is lovely I just love those 2 fabric appliques.

Just looking at this makes me smile, Joy! I think it is gorgeous!!! Are you kidding me? You rate your FMQ as pitiful everyone says practice makes perfect and we are our own worst judges of our talents....You go girl and STOP being so critical of your FMQ...you don't want me to come down there to FL do you? !!!!

Your Hibiscus is gorgeous, both the applique and the fmq. I am waiting for my fabric to begin one of Nancy Lee Chong's patters (the sailboat and lighthouse) and can't wait to get started. Hope I do half as nice a job as you did.

Beautiful quilt. Love the pattern, love the fabric-great color. Hard to see the quilting on the laptop, but I bet that is beautiful, too.

This turned out beautifully. I know the pattern must be a Nancy Chong 2 color pattern, right? I am still working on hand quilting one of her patterns that I made. I hope to finish in my lifetime!!!
