Default Hidden Wells Pattern in Batik Brights

Just completed this top for a friend who fell twice and is completely incapacitated. Broken knee cap, broken clavicle, broken bones in her hand. She likes bright colors and so I made this quilt top for her. Will sandwich it and FMQ it this week.

Bless your heart for making her this. I like bright colors too, they seem to make me feel good, maybe they will her too. After falling and breaking both long bones under my knee, I am scared to death of falling again. I was a long time recovering because I could not have the surgery I needed, because of osteoporosis. Dr said it would be like screwing into styrofoam. Thankfully I am ok today but always conscious about falling. Tell her to take care, feel better soon and I do hope she heals properly.

Oh what a good friend you are. This will bring warmth and those hidden but much appreciated hugs from you. Beautiful use of color.
