High School Graduate's quilt
Not hard to tell I've been gone for awhile--I'm having to "fiddle" to get things done right!!
Anyway, I finished the binding on this quilt this morning. Graduation is next weekend.
Someone posted a helpful hint about how to put your binding on a tube and then hang it around your neck and let it feed from the roller into the sewing machine. I tried it and IT WORKS like a charm. I'm sure I will never have a pile of binding on the floor again!
One picture shows it hanging around my neck and the other shows the binding feeding into the sewing machine.

The quilt is fantastic! And...Wow! How clever is THAT! I think many of us who didn't see the first post will now be saving toilet paper rolls and putting them to much better recycle use! lol Thanks for posting.

Great quilt and binding buddy! Isn't it great to not have to wrestle the binding from under your chair and off the floor? I made myself one with a section of pool noodle (with the center hole) instead of the TT roll.

Your quilt is beautiful!!! I like your tip on the binding hanging around your neck. I usually wind the binding
around my hand into a roll and then I take a can of spray basting (or any can) and set it next to my sewing machine and place the binding around it. It holds it so nice and then if I must get up for any reason, I don't have
to worry about the binding going anywhere.
