Not for me! I like the traditional Christmas stuff. This does not "feel" Christmas-y

I love the fabric. I think most people like the old fashion fabric
But change is good. Sometimes the newer fabric doesn't sell so well in handmade things. Because it doesn't go with other things people have.

And yet... we're not always sewing for ourselves.

Sometimes we're sewing for younger people.

Have you noticed how there are more and more of those (younger people)? Hmmm...

For this group, I think it's the ornaments and the packages that define it. Those of you who like the group... how many other fabrics would you need to have, in order to really make something? Or would you draw from your stash, rather than buy, say, the dots?

it's really hard to say how many we would need. i would buy probably 4 different coordinating fabrics to make some projects. (ie-presents, snowflakes, ornaments and then maybe either the dots or the stripes or something. i think these would make wonderful tablerunners or i might use a yard of it to wrap up a gift for my quilting buddies. there are just so many possabilities
