What a fantastic quilt!! I like everything about it! What is the pattern name? I've had some oriental fabric I have looked for a good pattern for. I love yours!! Whoever gets it will have an heirloom!

Sorry, I put the name in incorrectly. The pattern is Hip to (not) be Square by Heather Peterson. There are several really fun patterns in that collection. For Pennyhal, a design wall was totally essential for this pattern, and even with that some of my directional fabrics got cut wrong. Again, thanks to everyone for the lovely comments. It feels good to have others share in the joy of a completed project!

It's stunning. Wish I knew what you mean by " Quilting with the Hoop". Do you mean using the embroidery part of the machine and doing the pattern when the hoop is on ? I have embroidery machine so could do it or just using a wooden hoop to follow a stencil ?
